World Memon Organization Delegation Visits MMI Hospital

A high level delegation of World Memon Organization, headed by Honorary President, Mr. Suliman Noor Mahomed has visited MMI Hospital on Saturday, April 18, 2015.  The honorable guests were received by Mr. Peer Mohammad Diwan, Founder Chairman Memon Health & Education Foundation, Mr. Abdul Razak Diwan, Honorary Chairman of Memon Health & Education Foundation and Mr. Ajaz Saya, Deputy Chairman Memon Health & Education Foundation & head of HMB, Dr. M. Tufail Bawa CEO and Dr. Rizwan Azmi Medical Director. The delegation visited MMIH on the special invitation of Mr. Peer Mohammad Diwan to witness the splendid operational procedures and the marvelous institution. The delegation comprised of the top management of WMO from different countries including United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, Botswana and others. The members of the delegation has routed to all the departments and observed the facilities provided by the hospital.  The delegation deeply impressed with the infrastructure and the facilities provided by the hospital to the patients. How to Increase the power of your eyes sight?

This is very important to those whom their eyes are weak and also to everyone. Eyes muscles suffer as days pass by, which will lead to them not be capable of having eye contact the accurate way. In order to restore power in our eyes sight and keep them always powerful, we need to follow the following sunnah in our swalah. We should always keep our eyes open during the sujuud and stand up while looking at the sujuud spot and keep your eyes focused on the spot of sujuud through out your swalah. The wisdom behind looking at the sujuud spot is that while in rukuu, the eyes muscles will pressure the lens to increase vision and while you get up the eyes muscles will loosen. While in sujuud the lens will shrink because of the distance between the eyes and the ground. When you get up again it will loosen the eyes muscles. This practice we are doing each day is exercising our eyes muscles. We can perform each day 17 times or as much as we want. How to drink water ? As per Sunnah

The Sunnah way of drinking water is :- 1. Drink water with your right hand. 2. Drink water by sitting. 3. Start drinking water with saying Bismillah 4. See the water before drinking. 5. Drink water in 3 Sips. 6. Remove utensil from your mouth after each sip. 6. After finishing each sip say Alhamdulilla. 7. After 3 sips of drinking water, say finally Alhamdulillahi Wasshukru . BENEFITS OF SUNNAH OF DRINKING WATER by Sitting and with 3 sips of drinking water. 1. Kidneys never fails. 2. Knees are functional always. 3. Backbone is always strong. 4. Heart Valves never stop. 5. Seminar on Pancreatic Cancer

The Month of November is devoted to bringing pancreatic cancer into focus through awareness and keeping hope alive for those living with or touched by the disease.  Memon Medical Institute Hospital hosted the Seminar on Pancreatic Cancer on 27th November, 2014 in collaboration with Medical division team and Marketing at the hospital campus. This event was arranged for all health care workers, patient’s attendants whose patients are admitted with the diagnosis of cancer. The seminar was attended by over 75 participants who gathered to hear the latest thinking and current opinion on pancreatic cancer and how to prevent its occurrence. The Speakers comprised of experts in their field which include Dr. Rizwan Azmi- General Surgeon & President of medical board, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza- Surgeon, DR. Asghar- Oncologist, Mr. Shahzad-Head Nurse Inpatient Area; Mr. Imran-MScN student from Ziauddin University & Dr. Mahmood ul Hassan- Registrar Medicine. All discussed to control and prevent the disease of Pancreatic Cancer in community and hospital setting. The session concluded with lunch boxes to all participants.
